Ms. Simmons currently holds the board position of treasurer. Ms. Simmons is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley in sociology and political Science. She received her Masters of Social Work degree from San Jose State University. Ms. Simmons has twenty years experience in the human services field. Currently, she is employed as a Social Work Supervisor for the County of Santa Clara. Ms. Simmons is an appointed Commissioner for the Santa Clara County Child Abuse Council and is a member of the Tri-City Black Social Workers. Ms. Simmons enjoys skiing, white water rafting, sailing, and bid whist card games for leisure activities. | |||

Although Natisha is a native of San Francisco she has spent countless summers in San Jose with her great grandmother Inez C. Jackson and grew up in the summer programs of the AACSA. He has recently worked with the Executive Director on the improving the current AACSA building and generatiing new resources to assist in the facilities upgrades. He just completed the Coordination of the 2009 Juneteenth Festival, the largest annual Cultural gathering in Santa clara county.
