The San José City Council is searching for a new City Manager. The search for this top management post begins with input from the community. Five meetings will be held throughout the City to give the public an opportunity to share ideas on the profile of the ideal candidate for a City Manager. The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the City, its 19 offices and departments, and a $3.0 billion budget. This is an important opportunity for residents to influence the City's selection of its new City Manager.
