Lennies was raised in Dixon, a small rural town in Northern California where Spanish was her first language. From a young age she learned the importance of a strong foundation based in community, culture, and family.
She is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and the Lorenzo Patino Law School of Sacramento. Lennies is married with two young children and enjoys spending time with her family, running outdoors and volunteering in the community.
Lennies loves engaging in the community, being at the forefront of creating public policy and helping develop tomorrow’s future leaders. Currently she is the Director of Government Affairs for Comcast for the South Bay and Southern Peninsula areas which encompasses the Heart of the Silicon Valley since 2010 and previously worked on legislation for 10 years at the California State Capitol. She is an active board member of Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE), the Chamber San Mateo County and the Latino Leadership Alliance. She also serves as an advisory board member of the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley.
Lennies has participated in several leadership programs including the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility (HACR) Corporate Young Achievers Program, the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program held at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, the HOPE Leadership Institute and is a senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum of Silicon Valley. She was nominated to serve on the Comcast West Division Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and co-leads the California Unidos Employee Resource Group
