Your cookie choices

Necessary cookies keep the site working. With your OK we also count visits and load videos and embeds. Optional tools stay off until you choose.

Privacy & cookies

Your browser sends Global Privacy Control, so Statistics stay off unless you turn them on in Customize.

Cookie settings

Choose what this site may use. Everything except Necessary starts off. We save your choice in one cookie, aacsa-consent, for 6 months. You can change it any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat it as an opt-out, so Statistics start off.

  • Necessary

Keeps the site safe and working: pages, forms, sign-in, the shop cart and checkout.

    • Webflow —hosting, forms and the shop cart; a security cookie, wf-csrf (session).
    • Cloudflare —bot and attack protection: the cookie _cfuvid (session).
    • Stripe and PayPal —card and PayPal checkout in the shop. Stripe sets __stripe_mid (1 year) and __stripe_sid (30 minutes) and runs a fraud check on m.stripe.com; PayPal keeps __paypal_storage__ in this browser’s storage. Webflow loads both on every page, so we cannot switch them off.
    • Memberstack —keeps you signed in when you log in: ms_session_id and ms_groups in this browser’s storage, plus a sign-in token while you are signed in.
    • aacsa-consent —remembers the choices on this panel (6 months).
    • aacsa-jnth-signup —remembers that you closed or joined the Juneteenth mailing list (30 days after closing, 1 year after joining).

  • Statistics

Counts visits and popular pages, in totals. Not used for advertising. Loads only after you turn it on.

    • Google Analytics 4 —_ga and _ga_52D63LWHSC (cookies) and _gcl_ls (browser storage) hold a random visitor ID; it records pages viewed, device type and rough location, for about 13 months.

  • Video & embeds

Plays videos and shows content from other sites in the page. Off, you get a link to open it on that site instead.

    • YouTube —plays from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play; YouTube may store a visitor ID.
    • Spline map —the interactive Juneteenth map is built with Spline, which loads its own scripts and storage.
    • Embedly —embedded content on the policy advocacy team page loads from Embedly, which may set its own cookies.
