Elijah Harrell is a passionate professional with 15+ years experience in youth development and community engagement. Holding diverse roles throughout the Bay Area such as FRC Program Coordinator, Campus Director, Program Director, Youth Development Coach, Player Development Director, Behavioral Health Specialist, Recreation Leader. With a proven commitment to community through his experience in youth development and community program management, believing the youth build the future.
After studying Communications at De Anza College then Hospitality and Recreation Marketing Operations at Central New Mexico, he championed youth development and education through his advocacy work with organizations such as the Oakland Soldiers, Kaiser Permanente, Center for Social Dynamics, Alum Rock School Unified School District and Gilroy Unified School District.
In pursuit of his passions he has obtained certificates from USA Basketball as a USA Basketball Coach as well as a certificate from Urban Permaculture Institute of San Francisco in Permaculture Design. In his free time he enjoys traveling, art, live music, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
