Stephanie Allen is the FRC Programs Coordinator at the African American Community Service Agency in San Jose. Her alma mater is San Jose State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Child Development with a focus in community involvement. While completing her undergraduate degree, Stephanie volunteered with various organizations: Reading Partners, Fresh Lifelines for Youth and Court Appointed Special Advocates of Silicon Valley. Stephanie has a passion working with children and families and hopes to pursue her Masters in Social Work. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys playing with her puppy. Prior to COVID-19, Stephanie enjoyed traveling and hopes to visit Greece one day. Her favorite quote is by Maya Angelou, “ We may encounter defeats, but we must not be defeated.”
