I am a dedicated advocate, educator, and changemaker who has spent over a decade working on the front lines to uplift children and families in my community. With a strong foundation in early childhood development and an unwavering commitment to racial equity, my mission is simple yet profound: to dismantle systemic barriers and create nurturing, empowering spaces where children and families—especially those from historically marginalized communities—can thrive.
My journey began in childcare and evolved into full-scale community advocacy as I witnessed firsthand how institutional gaps and red tape often fail the very people they claim to serve. In response, I stepped up—not only to support families but to reimagine systems that center dignity, joy, and justice. I truly believe it only takes one caring adult to change the trajectory of a child’s life, and I strive to be that adult—not just for one child, but for the entire village.
My work is grounded in building resilience in at-risk youth, facilitating transformative community engagement, and educating families through culturally relevant courses and workshops. I’ve developed and led initiatives that focus on prevention, healing, and empowerment from the prenatal period through early childhood and beyond.
My areas of passion and expertise include:
● Disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline
● Addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) through trauma-informed care
● Advocating for Black maternal and infant health
● Building systems of risk reduction and resilience for Black and Brown families
I bring not just knowledge, but heart, vision, and lived experience to every room I enter—making
