Jeremiah Lineberger is the Development, Data Analyst and Programs Specialist at the African American Community Service Agency (AACSA) in San Jose. Jeremiah specializes in communications (storytelling), grant writing, data, and annual reports. He co-leads AACSA signature events; MLK Luncheon and Juneteenth in the Streets Festival. His work focuses on strengthening and building new community partnerships, elevating AACSA’s visibility through storytelling, and driving strategic outreach to support its programs and mission.
Jeremiah brings two years of experience in the tech industry from his time at Aircover Communications, where he supported public relations efforts for technology companies and C-suite executives. His work involved conducting in-depth media research, developing strategic communications plans, and helping companies secure coverage across key media outlets to elevate their brand presence.
Jeremiah holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from San José State University (SJSU) and is currently a doctoral student pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (EdD) at SJSU. His research has focused on expanding the reach and impact of the SJSU Black Alumni Network through a strategic social media and public relations campaign. This work boosted visibility, increased alumni engagement, and strengthened connections with undergraduate students. Through his current doctoral studies, he aims to become a leading advocate and policymaker focused on advancing equity in education for historically underserved communities.
In recognition of his leadership and community impact, Jeremiah was honored as the 2023 Young Professional of the Year by PRSA Silicon Valley. He also serves on the Young Professionals Board of the San Jose Sharks Foundation, where his goal is to advance representation and equity in the community.
